YMP started because we kept seeing the same thing: businesses paying agencies good money, getting polished-looking reports, and never really knowing if any of it was working.

We're based in Southeast Asia, which means we understand markets that big global agencies often treat as an afterthought. We've worked with luxury resorts, tech startups, e-commerce brands, and everything in between.

What we built is a team that's small enough to care — and experienced enough to deliver. We don't win business with decks full of case studies from companies nothing like yours. We win it by having honest conversations and then doing exactly what we said we'd do.

AI became a big part of what we do because we saw how it could make marketing faster and smarter — not cheaper. We use it as a tool, the same way a good carpenter uses a good saw. The skill is still in the hands holding it.

YMP was founded by Henk Sijtsma, a marketing and commercial strategist with more than 15 years of international experience across hospitality, branding, digital marketing, and business growth.

After working with global and regional brands across multiple markets, he built YMP around a simple idea: senior thinking, honest communication, and marketing that contributes to the business — not just the presentation.

His background combines Hotel Management with executive training in Digital Marketing Strategies and AI from Kellogg School of Management.
